Target of the project was to assure the ramp-up activities of an innovative roof system in a just-in-sequence greenfield-plant in South-Europe.
Initial Situation
- World-wide acting Tier-1 supplier with approx. 6.000 employees
- Very complex, highly innovative roof system (retractable hardtop)

Targets
- Securing the ramp-up volume
- Management of product changes during ramp-up
- Build-up new plant
- Just-in-Sequence deliveries to OEM
- Low-budget due to limited production time of car
APPROACH
- Selection of locations and creation of legal entity
- Networking on high-level with politics and further decision takers
- Planning and build-up of the new plant
- Concept and realisation of assembly equipment
- Implementation of a Just-in-Sequence Supply Chain Management concept
